This series of pen and ink portraits are created from quotes of the individual portrayed.  A reference image is selected and then lightly layed out in pencil.  I then research quotes, song lyrics, literary works etc from the individual which I transcribe by hand to fill in the dark areas of the image.  This whole process is hand done and these are originals not prints.  I also accept commissions in this series.
